Well, is this law alive and well today???

4.5 years ago I was a flat broke, in debt musician / bartender who had just graduated college.  And then I “attracted” this industry and started learning a few things.

One of the biggest concepts that I had no idea about was this “Law of Attraction.”  I honestly didn’t really believe in all this crap initially… you could create your own future, you could attract whatever you wanted… yah yah, I had heard this before but never really paid any attention to it and I certainly never studied or implemented it.

All of that changed quickly.  You see, I was making less than $2,000 per month with my job and I desperately wanted to pursue a music career.  I also had big goals and big plans for the future, but no end in sight.

When I found this industry I was completely open and willing to learn anything ANYBODY would teach me about being successful.  I definitely didn’t have anything figured out nor did I know anything about becoming a millionaire.

So I was a sponge.  I took this personal development / law of attraction stuff to heart and I embraced it with my everything I am.

I studied everything I could, I read every book I could get my hands on, I attended every seminar I could get to, and I listened and went through every course I could find.  I sought out the leaders in the personal development arena and I religiously visited their websites and blogs.

I was hooked.  I finally knew what my problem was.  I finally knew who was 100% responsible for the results in my life, why I was struggling, why I was attracting a broke lifestyle, why I couldn’t seem to make ends meet.

And I went to work.

This wasn’t easy… in fact, this is the only REAL work in this industry.  The lead generation is simple… if you can find mentors who will show you exactly what they’re doing to generate a massive amount of leads, then just do what they do and follow their blueprints.  But the real work is inside.

Most don’t buy into this prosperity mindset, this law of attraction, hence the 97% failure rate (in life, not just the network marketing industry).

All too often I see people right at the edge, just about to break through, and then they quit.

It’s because they were weak.  The didn’t acquire this “millionaire mindset” and they were NOT in touch with this law of attraction.

This is all I did for 4.5 years and it has paid off great dividends for me.

One of the coolest and unreal things that have happened to me is that in this process of changing my mindset from broke musician to millionaire status involved a gentleman named T. Harv Eker.

Eker’s book, The Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, was one of the first books I was recommended to read in this industry.  Since then I’ve read it many times over because it’s laid in such a way that you can actually implement on a daily basis exercises that will assist you in this process.

Eker’s book had a huge impact on me back then and just a few months ago I was visiting in Costa Rica with my buddy Todd Schlomer.  We were looking at some
investment properties and I’ll never forget when we were driving around our secluded mountain and our buddy said, “look, that’s Eker’s property, and so is that one… and that one…”

It was INSANE… UNREAL!  It all became very clear at that very moment…  What I had worked so hard for and believed in for the last few years… had come to fruition.

4.5 years ago I was reading this guy’s book and learning about this law of attraction for the first time!

And today this powerful author is now my neighbor!?!?!

WHAT THE F&^#!  WHO KNEW?!?!  How did I attract this???

THIS LAW OF ATTRACTION REALLY DOES WORK… GO FIGURE 

I certainly wouldn’t have believed you if you told me 4.5 years ago that this would be today’s present!

Embrace this law… please!  Be mindful of every thought that you let occupy your brain… it will come back to you 1,000-fold.  In fact, if you don’t think the law of attraction is alive and strong today, please hit the X up top and close this blog… I cannot help you.

Here we are…

The reason I got started 4.5 years ago in this industry was so I would NEVER have to work for another person other than ME. Being a full-time bartender right out of college along with pursuing a music career afforded a sub-par lifestyle to say the least.

It actually included a lot ramen noodles, cheap beer, and movies on TV for date nights… ahhh, what a catch I was

Fast-forward to today…

My band and I have been in the studio all week.  I not only funded the majority of this project out of pocket, but I also was able to have a business in place that still generated me THOUSANDS of dollars without me having to lift a finger.

Now that’s FREEDOM!

I’m sitting here in the studio reminiscing about my journey to becoming part of the elite top 1% of internet marketers and I’m humbled.  I’m looking around at all I’ve been able to create and I can’t help but feel so very blessed and grateful for some of the decisions I’ve made.  (this is CRITICAL to your success… gratitude will serve you greatly)

It’s incredible to think about how it all started.  I went to google and found a silly little ad on the right-hand side of google that forever changed my life.

I went through almost 3 years with ZERO profit, but I kept my eye on the prize.  I stayed persistent. I eagerly sought out the best marketers and soaked up everything I could, which I still consistently do every single day.

I hung in there…

That’s half the battle in this industry.  99% of new business owners aren’t going to make 5-figures in their first month yet most people who start an mlm business want to get rich overnight.

It’s not going to happen.

However, if you can simply take more steps forward than you take backward day in and day out, over time you will build your empire.

And a lot can happen overnight in this industry.  It can start with that one simple thought, that ah-ha moment that opens the doors to a new life.  That’s all it takes.  It can happen right now actually… as you’re reading this sentence… if you let it.

Be that person you wish to be right now, in your mind first!  Then act like that person would today!  Think like that person right now!  Then It has to come to fruition… this is how the universe works and how it’s worked since the beginning of time.  Successful people know this and the world is their playground.

If you can hang in there, learn to take some punches, and never give up, its only a matter of time before you create your own lifestyle by design.

4.5 years ago I was a broke musician right out of college with no internet marketing knowledge whatsoever.  My back was against the wall more times than I can count, but I learned to embrace that feeling… I learned to get comfortable with being uncomfortable… that’s when big things happen…

It was that ignorance on fire, that continual thirst for knowledge, and just that plain old all out massive action.

Thats why I stand where I stand today.

Enjoying this life of absolute freedom while actively pursuing my dream of one day playing on stage to 100,000 screaming fans.  This week in the studio and debut record with my new band is the first step.
